Brickle Duo

The Brickle Duo
A husband and wife team, David and Marianna Brickle first collaborated in 2007 while studying at Brevard Music Center. They have given numerous recitals throughout the United States, including recent performances for the Clinch Valley Concert Series in Virginia, the Karla Longree Endowment Concert in Black Mountain, North Carolina, and a faculty recital at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. Other appearances include a radio broadcast for Blue Lake Public Radio, recitals as guests of Florida College, City University of New York - College of Staten Island, the Alabama Music Teachers Association, the Artist Series at Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama, and the annual Concierto de Música Cristiana y Clásica in Levittown, Puerto Rico. The Brickle Duo curates programs of eclectic repertoire, pairing standards such as Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata alongside lesser known music, with a focus on American music, and music by living composers. They seek to engage audience members of all ages and musical knowledge levels by providing background and personal insights into the works they are performing by speaking to the audience. The duo has performed in master classes for both Jeremy Denk and the Daedalus Quartet. The Brickle Duo has served on the faculty of Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan since 2018.
